Off the Notebook

The only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work and love what you do. If the world itself says 'I'm possible', then nothing will come off as impossible.

About Me

My photo
Sylvie
I am my fathers daughter, a Journalist and a Media Trainer whose voice has graced the airwaves over the years. They say Journalism is a calling, and I am one of those who heard the call to share stories on behalf of the unheard, a job i have passionately done for more than ten years. This Package is accompanied by a Degree in Development Studies, a Diploma in Journalism and professional trainings from Marquette University- USA and Radio Netherlands Training Center. Knowing me will prove to you that I persist against personal hardship, putting work before my own needs and welfare to reach my objectives long after others have given up and fallen by the wayside. Now this sounds like Pride, Courage and confidence. It could be also be attitude, but well, the combined effort is what drives me.

My Dream

My focus is to use the media and its avenues to enhance the demand for good governance and service delivery by empowering citizens to demand for it from the concerned authorities.

Eventually, if governance is improved, we will achieve two goals: reduced corruption and improved service delivery.
